The Narayana Suktam, is a Vedic hymn on the Supreme Being Naaraayan, in YajurVed as the Father of creation,inconceivably transcendent and yet hiddenly present in the heart of everyone, being nearerthan even the nearest of things.

Sahasraśhīrṣhaṁ Devaṁ Viśvāakśaṁ Viśvaśambhuvaṁ,
Viśhvaṁ Naārāyaaṇaṁ Devamakśharaṁ Paramaṁ Padam.
Aum , oh Eternal Being ,Narayana thousand headed and multi-eyed ,the imperishable
The supreme, The resplendent, The source of delight for the whole universe.
ॐ , हे शाश्वत भगवान नारायण , हे हज़ार आँखों वाले , हे कभी विनाश न होने वाले , हे परम तत्त्व , हे ज्योतिर्मयी , हे सारे संसार को आनंद देने वाले
Viśhvataḥ Paramaam Nityaṁ Viśhvaṁ Naaraayangam Harim
Viśhvamevedaṁ Puruṣhastadviśhvamupajīvati.
Oh Supreme Being Naaraayan, Oh Hari, you are the whole Universe,You are Eternal
The Omnipresent Absolute which destroys all sins.
हे परम पुरुष नारायण , हे हरि , यह सारा जगत आपका ही स्वरुप है,
हे सर्वव्याप्त , हे पापों का विनाश करने वाले
Patiṁ Viśhvasyātmeśvaragï Shāśhvatagï Shivamachyutam,
Nāaraāyaṇaṁ Mahāajñeyaṁ Viśhvāatmānaṁ Paraāyaṇam.
Oh master of the universe, the Lord of all souls you are Shiva{auspicious}, Achyuta{indestructible}
Oh Nāaraāyaṇa you are Supreme object worthy of being known, the Soul of all beings, the shelter unfailing.
हे संसार के पति { स्वामी } हे सभी आत्माओं के स्वामी आप ही कल्याणकारी शिव हैं आप ही अच्युत { कभी न विनष्ट होने वाले } हैं
हे भगवान नारायण आप ही जानने योग्य परम तत्त्व हैं हे सभी आत्माओं के स्वामी , आप ही कभी न छुटने वाली परम शरण हैं
Nāaraāyaṇaḥ Paro Jyotiraātmā Nāaraāyaṇaḥ Paraḥ.
Nāaraāyaṇaḥ Paraṁ Brahma Tattvaṁ Nāaraāyaṇaḥ Paraḥ,
Nāaraāyaṇaḥ Paro Dhyātā Dhyānam Nāaraāyaṇaḥ Paraḥ.
Narayana is the Supreme Light; Narayana is the Supreme one.
The Lord Narayana is the Reality/Truth,Narayana is the Supreme one
Narayana is the Supreme Meditator; Narayana is the Supreme Meditation.Narayana is the Supreme one
भगवान नारायण ही परम ज्योति हैं नारायण ही परम तत्त्व हैं
भगवान नारायण ही सत्य हैं ,नारायण ही परम तत्त्व हैं
भगवान नारायण ही सबसे बड़ा ध्यान हैं , नारायण ही परम तत्त्व हैं
Yaccha Kiñchidjjagatsarvaṁ Dṛiśhyate Shrūyyate’pi Vāa,
Antarbahiścha Tatsarvaṁ Vyaāpya Nāaraāyaṇaḥ Sthitaḥ.
Whatever all this universe is, seen or heard of—pervading all this,
Situated inside and outside, All pervading s supreme the Eternal Divine Being (Narayana).
इस सम्पूर्ण जगत में जो भी देखा - सुना गया है
जो अन्दर और बाहर स्थित है, वह सर्वव्याप्त शाश्वत दिव्यात्मा, भगवान् नारायण ही हैं
Anantamavvyayaṁ Kavigu Samudre’ntaṁ Viśhvaśambhuvam,
Padmakośhapratīkāaśhagi Hṛidayaṁ Chāpyadhomukham.
You are Limitless, Imperishable, Omniscient, residing in the ocean of the heart, the Causeof the happiness of the universe,
Oh Nāaraāyaṇa you manifest yourself in the inside of the heart which is comparable to aninverted bud of the lotus flower.
आप अनंत हैं , कभी न विनष्ट होने वाले हैं सर्वज्ञ हैं , हृदय क समुद्र में रहते हैं और सभी लोकों को प्रसनता प्रदान करने वाले हैं
हे नारायण आप स्वयं को ह्रदय रुपी कमल में प्रकट करते हैं
Adho Niṣhṭayāa VitasyāAnte Nābhyāamupari Tiṣṭhati,
JvāalamāalAākulaṁ BhāAti Viśhvasyāayatanaṁ Mahat.
Below the centre of the throat, and above the naval(i.e., the heart which is the relative seat of the manifestation of Pure Consciousness in the human being),
Effulges the Great Abode of the universe, as if adorned with garlands of flames.
गर्दन के मध्य भाग में {विशुधि केंद्र } , नाभि के ऊपर { अर्थात ह्रदय में , जहाँ व्यक्ति की चेतना रहती है }
परम तत्त्व ब्रह्मा वहां रहता है , जिसने गले में अग्नि की ज्वालाओं का हार धारण किया है
Santatagï Shilābhistu Lambatyākośasannibham
Tasyaānte Suṣhiragï Sookśhmaṁ Tasmin Sarvaṁ Pratiṣṭhitam.
Surrounded on all sides by nerve-currents (or arteries), the lotus-bud of the heart is suspended in an inverted position.
In it is a subtle space (sushumna-nadi)and therein is to be found the Substratum of all things.
सुषुम्ना नाड़ी में वह परम तत्त्व रहता है , ह्रदय के उस स्थान पर जहाँ महान अग्नि रहती है , वह सर्वज्ञ, कभी न विनष्ट होने वाला तत्त्व ,
Tasya Madhye Mahaanagnirviśhvārchirviśhvatomukhaḥ,
So’grabhug Vibhajan Tiṣṭhan Aāhaaramajaraḥ Kaviḥ.
In that space within the heart resides the Great Flaming Fire, undecaying, all-knowing, with tongues spread out in all directions,
With faces turned everywhere, consuming all food presented before it, and assimilating it into itself.
जिनकी जीभ चारों दिशाओं में फैली हैं , उसके मुख सभी दिशाओं में फैले हैं , जो की सारा भोजन ग्रहण करता है जो की उसे प्रस्तुत किया जाता है और उसे अपने में सम्मलित कर लेता है
Tiryagūrdhavamadaḥśhaāyī Raśhmayastasya Santataāḥ,
Santaāpayati svaṁ Dehamāapaātatalamastakam,
Tasya Madhye Vanhiśhikhāa Aṇīiyordhvāa Vyavasthitaḥ.
His rays, spreading all round, sideways as well as above and below,
Warm up the whole body from head to foot.
In the centre of That (Flame) abides the Tongue of Fire as the topmost among all subtle things.
उसकी किरणें, हर दिशा में फैली हैं और ऊपर और नीचे भी फैली हैं , जो की उसके शरीर को ऊपर से नीचे तक गर्म रखती हैं
उस अग्नि के मध्य में वह परम तत्त्व रहता है
Nīlatoyadamadhyasthaād vidyullekheva Bhaāsvarāa,
Nīvāaraśhūkavattanvī Peetā Bhāasvatyaṇūpamāa.
Brilliant like a streak of lightning set in the midst of the blue rain-bearing clouds, slender like the awn of a paddy grain,
Yellow (like gold) in colour, in subtlety comparable to the minute atom, (this Tongue of Fire) glows splendid.
उस अग्नि के मध्य में उसकी जिह्वा रहती है जो की अति सूक्षम है जैसे की जल से भरे बादलों में बिजली की चमक होती है वैसे ही वह चमकता है, उसका सोने जैसा पीला रंग है
Tasyāaḥ Sikhāayā Madhye Paraamātmāa Vyavasthitaḥ,
Sa Brahma Sa Shivaḥ Sa Hariḥ Sendraḥ So’kṣaraḥ Paramaḥ Svaraāṭ.
In the middle of that Flame, the Supreme Self dwells.
This (Self) is Brahma (the Creator), Siva (the Destroyer), Hari (the Protector), Indra (the Ruler), the Imperishable, the Absolute, the Autonomous Being.
उस अग्नि के मध्य में वह परम तत्त्व रहता है
वही परम तत्त्व ब्रह्मा है, वही शिव है ,वही हरि वही इन्द्र है , वही सत्य है , वही सबसे बड़ा है
Rtagï Satyaṁ Paraṁ Brahma Puruṣaṁ Kṛṣṇapiṅgalam,
Urdhvaretaṁ Virūpākśaṁ Viśvarūpāya Vai Namo Namaḥ.
Prostrations again and again to the Omni-formed Being, the Truth, the Law, the Supreme Absolute, the Purusha of blue-decked yellow hue, the Centralised-force Power, the All-seeing One.
हम उस परम तत्त्व की शरण में हैं , जो हर जगह व्याप्त है , जो परम सत्य है , जो शक्ति है , जो सब कुछ देखता है
Aum Naārāayaṇāya Vidmahe Vāsudevāya Dhīmahi, Tanno Viṣṇuḥ Pracodayāt.
We commune ourselves with Narayana, and meditate on Vaasudeva; May that Vishnu direct us (to the Great Goal).
हम स्वयं को नारायण से जोडते हैं , वासुदेव का ध्यान करते है , भगवान विष्णु हमें सत्प्रेरणा दें
Auṁ Shāntiḥ Shāntiḥ Shāntiḥ.
Auṁ , May there be Peace, Peace, Peace.
